a friend of a friend has a car accident travelling with his family

Oh God we thank you for our brother Ben,
and for his baby Ruben too as well,
that in this time of sadness right now when
their wife & mother can not even tell

or show your love in ways Maria could.
Oh God you know her even better than
her husband and her baby did - real good..
for you're her father, & love more than man.

So we can trust her life into her hands,
and know we're not down here for all of time,
but we know Ben & babe will feel demands
and weaknesses & grief, please help them shine

& know your grace and help in time of need,
Please help us think of things that we could do.
And send people to help the baby feed,
& help Ben heal in Canberra I.C.U.

Please help his bones to knit, & heart to heal,
by crying out to you creatively,
& telling you the whole of how he feels.
You are his God, & you know, and you see!
