How to pray? ... Mark says he ... is doing it tough ... love, pain'n'stuff.

Thinking of Mark (and family) and the end paragraphs of 1John, and the psalms of Lament, and Jesus.

Markus in what pain
your dad is - again.
Your mum feeling torn.
Those who love them worn.

Turn your questions in-
-to prayers, of lament.
Blues songs are not sin.
The Way Jesus went! -

My God, oh my God,
why abandon me?
Complain to which bod?
Who will help us see?

He who helped the blind
to begin to see
came upon a time
that he asked for "me".

God please give Mark bro's
better than He had.
They all took repose
when he was so sad.

Thinking now of Him,
"lives to intercede"
Mark's big brother wins,
He may fill Mark's need.

Unless I've been sent
by Him, who's The Way.
Sometimes I feel spent,
Your love wins the day!

God, bring

healing

of life

and love;

from lost,

chaos-ed

went splat,

till now

We watch

and pray,

you botch

not(!) hey,

but grow

through death,

seeds show

your breath

Please lift

our strife.

Amen.

never forsaken, not never forced achin'; though the end won't include pain and sickness.

Jesus said, “He will never leave me nor forsake me.” Hebrews 13:5 (PM Version)

 well,...

I think God said that (Heb 13:5, Deut 31:6) to Yeshua, and (by extension) to his body (of people).

Though, not being forsaken by God, apparently does not mean we'll always feel him close though, like Ps16 we may report the times we do, and do what we can to "set the LORD always before me" :

Yeshua, still felt forsaken.....

but then he was asking a question of the one who had (appeared to have) forsaken him,....

 and hoping for an answer...
.
.
.
Thank you Lord Jesus for showing us how to even handle feeling forsaken by your God, and our God, your Father, and our Father.

Thank you Father for keeping your word and vindicating our Lord Jesus, your anointed one!

Thank you Holy Spirit for bringing the very spirit of the Lord Jesus into us! - that we might also pray "Abba..."

We're made free ... by what he ... did. You see ... he said cle- ... -ar-rl-ly ... "Follow me"!

I stand firm in the freedom that Christ has won for me and I do not let myself be caught again with a yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1 (PM Version)

God, AMEN. And we will live
in the freedom that you give,
that's been won by our great big
bro. So we won't care a fig
when this world sys-tem bosses,
IT is part of our losses!
HE led us to bear crosses!

God's Central Purpose

The enemy's a thief, his purpose is
to steal, to kill, destroy, the good God gave.
He doesn't build good new creative things,
he doesn't redeem, satisfy, or save,

@ least not like God's chosen Leader does,
who's purpose is to bring  abundant life
& with the power of God's creative love's
enabled to bring richness IN the strife.

The secret that connects us to this one
is friendship, or that loyalty or faithful-
ness, that shows up by what grows in a son
or daughter & comes out when they're grateful

as day-dreams or their imaginations,
& then in hopes/ requests for folk about,
and as well in their own meditations,
from which the words through their own mouths come out.

So Jesus said, our Christ, when HE stood here:
"Your OWN words will be your condemnation,
or your acquittal", SO, be of good cheer
there won't be any news or occasions

to take you by surprise when he appears;
just the same ol' news that "He's in charge now,
and won't stand for hypocrisy, or "smears".
If that is your direction,  then you'll bow

at least to wish that this could all be true,
& not be then just bagging out his word,
& if you see something that is a clue,
put two and two together. Be a nerd!

.......
Here's some of my meditations from Matthew mixed in with those from the following passages. What do you think?
The enemy is a thief, his purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus' purpose is to give us a rich and satisfying abundant life  John 10:10 (PM Version)
The secret of Faith is in your heart and in your mouth Roman 10:8 (PM Version)
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 (PM Version)

Acceptable to God...

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14 (PM Version)

.......

O may the words from mouth of me, as well
as meditations which from heart and mind
now come, all be acceptable and tell
the story of our family. The kind

which honours head of us, & also makes
you glad O Lord, my Rock, and my Fortress,
Redeemer who has freed me, Hiding Place,
that I might be allowed my God to bless.

On the birth of a Twoman (pronounced 2man - when 1 man joins up with 1 woman)

On considering our often tawdry little lives, & then hearing of a brave couple daring to attempt the impossible.

Oh God who else can we go to?
- to bless the mess of what we do
when sometimes we don't want to pay
the kind of cost to be today

what you dream up for good to show
through these small lives where they will go.
We ask you to bless honestly,
not tongue in cheek, that we should be

reflections of such dreams and hopes
as a god has for little dopes,
but oh the difference here I see,
these dopes are his children, that's we

are baby gods, who've zombified
(a sad ol' world - many have cried).
In hearing of a wedding there,
today in Queensland, or somewhere,

my heart is cheered, I shout Hooray!
They're dreaming big, and they will pay
(unless they stop), & help is round
in people who are "on the ground",

for God's not in heaven only;
friends that save you being lonely,
and care for you, are his portals,
though they may be only mortals.

So look your partner in the face
& (knowing you'll need help and grace)
decide to shoot for bigger things
than your own self, & you'll get wings.

the God who listens, weighs, chooses etc

'Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.' (1 Chronicles 4:10)
.......

So Jabez cried out to the God of him,
that's to the God of his people (all those
whose stories had enlivened him, and dimmed
alternate stories - which by then arose).

He cried out to the God of Isra'el
(who was already "owned" by his fathers)
though what he asked for has a funny smell,
it might be God was glad he shared 'druthers...

“That you would bless, enlarge my territ'ry!
Let your hand be with me, and keep me from...
from harm, so that I (fully?) will be free...
that's free from pain.” - And God went right along.

For that's the goal that God is aiming for:
although pain is quite helpful here today,
his plan for pain is "it will be no more"-
when human nymphs have new bodies again.

Oh God, like Jabez, I will call on you,
"the God and Father of new Isra'el"
I'll tell you all the things I druther do,
or follow through , then trust you to choose well..

An Alternative (to the Creator's) Way:

Just putting it out there: I don't know the plans I've got for you - haven't thought much about where you're heading. Maybe things could turn out and not be a disaster. But I couldn't be sure of an ok ending, let alone a hopeful future.
