a friend choosing from options

God, please give wisdom to this man.
But maybe there's other things too
things like efficiency, love, and
listening to words (and groans) from you.

Please grow these careful goodnesses
in this friend, and his family too,
so more than legal should-nesses
spur him on, with a love like you

have for these your very children,
or your sheep that need your special
care for lambs, watered and filled 'em,
no real needs that you won't help fill!

More than all the details, please grow
strong friendship that trusts and won't fear
so no matter which way they go
he'll care for lambs, feed sheep who're here.

Amen

brothers breakfast together tomorrow..

Bless-ed time together
at that breakfast pub.
You enjoy the weather,
'member things that rub

in such a way that they
sharpen or make smooth
as i-ron or stones play
their part, and reprove.

May you all celebrate
a bless-ed earth-day,
and catch up with a mate
or two, not to stray.

But to go on strongly,
learn to listen well,
and to not judge wrongly,
save your souls from hell!

A mate starts a blog...

On you!
Keep on,
be strong.
Speak true.

That will
help us
not fuss,
fulfill.

G'day
to who
'sround you,
I say.

Her mum is quite sick

She’s been in hospital, bad infections in lunch (+ emphysema, and COPD..), and her husband died less than a year ago. She hasn’t got over it. Does she know she is still loved, as she loved her children, and more.

Katrina, you are doing love

reflecting back there to your mum,

what she got from the god above,

patient listening, though not quite “dumb”:

speaking only what will help build,

learning to help her to work out:

holes that should, or else could, be filled;

what one should hold, 'nwhat one should doubt.

I gotta dotta: an R-bell...

Annabelle Rose Elvita
Heer Walker, that is her name;
times her room could be neater,
we love her though just the same.

They say this day is special;
no longer a "teen-ager",
I don't know, but I guess she'll
settle (-not such a rager)!

Been connecting with a team,
(no sleep-ins on those team-days)
life's not always what it seems,
"Some folk are different" she says.

Learning to listen and love
folk with their differences too,
keeping connected above
all that's important to you.

Still big decisions to make
about next year and her life,
but small ones on the way shape
more than we know, they are rife

with potential as Jesus
(that's the one she calls her Lord)
told us, our Father sees us
"cups of wat-er" ain't ignored,

visiting those in trouble:
in hospital, or in jail;
giving, what looks like stubble,
but 'tsall the grain in your pail;

trusting the one who makes grain
multiply in the dark earth
so that it rises again
but with new body, new birth.

Losing control of the helm,
gaining the rest of a child,
learning with fears, to quell 'em
through faith & love that is wild.

God's hope for her is greater
he says than what we could dream,
so I'll gladly be "waiter",
& "watcher" for that bright sheen.

Anarther father.

Daughter sorta "fought" a nother year.

Milly (de Pilly)
is one year older!
Don't think me silly:
I think she's "golder":

as trials come by
with each year of life,
she don't have to try
it happens, it's rife;

she's growing beauty
and open-ness too.
More than a duty,
she left her glass shoe,

I think by mistake,
or else events forced
life's aspects to make
her life a new source

under God, of love
which has the most pow'r;
of all things that shove,
it doesn't somehow,

and yet made the world,
both heavens and earth,
the planets were hurled
and light had it's birth!

The word of that love
let time and space be,
harmless as a dove
but like that Milly.

God, please keep growing
your wisdom in her,
like a snake going
on rock, may she serve

in "impossible"
placings and timings,
for you, God, are full
of wond'rous rhymings.

One in a hundred
or thousand, or more,
Milli-Cent; one dread
batt-le-maiden: you're

daughter who oughta
be of a glad dad!

The Lord is very near...

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and rescues those who are crushed in spirit.  (Psalm 34:18 PMV)
...............................

Oh God is this true?
I'm right glad of it,
when I'm feeling "blue",
or else "in the shit"

-of my own making
('n-I can't clean it up),
or others taking
time to (on me) dump.

Two things now jump out
re. this, I see, whence
one comes from my doubts,
one from my pru-dence.

Prudence wants less spent;
notes "brokenhearted",
not "a bit up-set"
('tspast where it started!),

"crushed in spirit", not
"not feeling myself".
Why wait till we've got
broke 'n crushed, no wealth?

Three answers appear
to me as I quest:
* A drowning man's fear
   must be put to rest.

* We can't be "in charge"
   when rescued like this.
* This One with Love large
   heals us with his kiss.

Each one's a story
which o-pens up life,
to th'point, not boring
(like my lovely wife).

If the Lord is close
to his children who
are broken the most,
and he tells us to

My question from doubts
is some-thing like this:
The Lord's where abouts-
when nothing's amiss?

And answers I see
com-ing thick and fast:
*  since we ate that tree,
   has this come to pass?

   Has there ever been
   some-thing not amiss?
   - In the whole world scene,
   or in me, dismissed.

   Maybe my job then
   is "admit my state"
   (e-ven, if and when
   I feel to "elate").

*  maybe eyes of love
   in this broken place,
   get ignored, or shoved,
   till our breaks erase

   all our dreams of pow'r;
   we see what love sees,
   and we see that Our
   Father's in the breeze..

   ..that just caressed us,
   which would blow away
   our cares and fretts (does
   not do all we say,

   but he loves us true,
   gives us heaps of choice,
   yet says what to do
   for small girls and boys).

*  'nless we actively
   'nvite him to help us;
   "Come to rescue me",
   we'll eschew the fuss

   that he makes to save
   us who need his strength
   this side of the grave…
   Will we trust at length?

Cousins keep contact..

Lovely to hear about
*the ducks like Nana's ones,
*the rainbows that came out
  (both your Father's, & son's).

*The house becoming home
*That young one playing tunes
*A mum singing "alone"
  with her daughters, soon 's

they're tucked into their beds,
and *praying quietly true.
I'm glad you rang and said
all this stuff. I like you...

Scheduling time with ............... ........... groups of kin and kith .......... ........... in order to serve .................. help them keep their nerve

God,

thanks for this body
you have put us in.
Sometimes we seem shody;
I think that you grin.

Grin with happiness,
as we learn to stand
'n your council* to bless,
each holding your hand.

Your wise ways display
many dimensions
and colours, we say
it's worth the tensions..

like two eyes which use
different views always;
somehow our brains fuse
them to mirror space

like a hologram,
in our little brain,
3D worlds now can
be there when we deign.

In this new body
you help to create
new ways that godli-
ness can grow and wait

till it's birthing time
comes in your good plan
and all goodness rhymes
"earth, as in heaven"+.

Amen.
